For years, 3D printing has been used in many different sectors, supporting the classic production systems, from industrial prototyping to actual production.

The materials which are used are available such as filaments, powders, granules, liquids and their composition varies according to the characteristics of the final object:
functional or aesthetic prototype, definitive and ready to use object , mold and various others.

Printing is made in different ways, depending on the type of technology used:
selective microfusion laser (DMLS), fused deposition modeling (FDM), selective laser sintering (SLS), stereolithography (SLA), or by fusion through electrons beam (EBM). Plastic and metals, in all their shapes, are the raw materials used to manufacture most of 3D printed items.
